Several organizations are banding together to challenge California’s Prostitution Law. Case number 16-15927,  Erotic Service Providers Legal, Education and Research Project (ESPLERP) versus Gascon is scheduled for oral arguments on Thursday October 19th at 9am. The case will be presented in before the US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Supporters of the case include the Woodhull Freedom Foundation, the Free Speech Coalition, the American Civil Liberties Union, as well as First Amendment Lawyers Association, Transgender Law Center, and over 30 of LGBTQ and civil rights organizations.
